Metallica find a new outlet

Metal gods Metallica have launched a new website in the lead-up to the release of their new album.

Mission: Metallica will provide the band's ever-loyal fan base with access to new material and live performances. It promises video of the band in the studio, working on the as-yet-untitled ninth album and will also give fans a chance to win concert tickets.

Metallica's new album, the follow-up to 2003's St Anger, is expected later in the year.
